I have a life-long dear friend (38 years now) who is a die-hard democrat, she and her husband, their families, etc. They're up in western NY. He's a union electrician; she a public school secretary. They absolutely hate George Bush; hate Rush Limbaugh, hate anything that is of the "Right." All...except me and my family, of course. We can't even talk politics because our views are so diametrically opposite. I think they are so blinded and, no doubt, they think that we are. They would never think of giving GWB a chance. But then, I would NEVER even think of giving a democrat a chance either.
Good, we agree. That is old news. So to me it makes it curious that Drudge would be running it now. Unless it was some foreshadowing. As I said, this is a tired refrain from Kerry's stump speech and when he used it in the debate, Bush did not respond... I agree things are starting to fall into place...

Story: Putin-derived info. on Kerry-Syria-Iran talks. Putin is already backing Bush and US-Russian relations will sour with Kerry in office. Bush looks the other way regarding Putin's "soft authoritarianism".
