Laura Bush handled this like a true Texas lady. Teresa Kerry is an assanine heiress worth over 500 million and she had the nerve to make a comment that Laura Bush has never had a "real job"? Laura Bush was a school teacher and a librarian, but what her comment was just a stab at Mrs. Bush being a stay-at-home mom. Mrs. Bush also has a master's degree that bears mentioning. My mother, who stayed home with me (had she not, I don't know if I would have what it takes to get my master's degree)- My mother would have a thing or two to say to Mrs. Kerry.
Our first lady should be this ladylike!

Wow, what a sweet wonderful woman. I would have ripped Theresa a new one, but Laura Bush is just a true southern gentlewoman. What a great example she is.
Yes, she is indeed a lady, but Laura also delivered Euro-trash Heinz the high society blow back. No one could ever point to anything ungracious the First Lady said, but Teresa was given a social cut that was critical. A lot of women recognize it.

I think Laura Bush is the most intelligent, commonsensical and most dignified First Lady we've ever had. We really need her in the White House for another four years.
