It was another party; theirs wasn't taped, but one of the hosts did photograph (35mm) the explosion and aftermath. The FBI confiscated the camera, negs and prints 2 days later. They didn't even return the camera.

A 'cocktail party' tape was shown on national TV later on the night of the crash. The fixed cameras view showed some of the people at the party rushing to the rail of the patio after an off-screen flash out at sea. -- This clip was shown a few hours after the crash, on one of the stations I was surfing that night, then disappeared.
Anyone else out there remember seeing it?

That seems to be a pretty typical routine in federal 'investigatons'.
Confiscate everything for 'national security' reasons, then deny it even existed.

What I want to know is why the current Administration is impotent and uncaring not to get to the bottom of all this.

Try to think of one scandal of any kind from the Clinton years, that the Bush administration has tried to get to the bottom of. Including the nefarious "missing W" keyboards. (maybe I'm forgetting something)

The report that I posted a couple days ago, was from WW2, they were the German subs, from the battle and sinking off
the east coast.

Not long after Flight 800 went down, there were several reports of boats/ships reported fleeing the area, my memory is weak, but I think there was one stolen boat in the reports, in the right area.

As for the shoulder fired missiles, they find them all over the east coast, there has been news reports in several papers. Wasn't there more than one on the train tracks in Georgia?

The silence from the current administration is deafening. I support W, and I think he's the guy we need to fight terrorism, but I'm concerned about the continued cover-up of the terrorist acts from the Clinton years.

I can understand not wanting to point fingers at a prior administration (though the Dems would do it in a heartbeat), but W ought to be able to find a way to reveal the truth while protecting the integrity of the office.

I would think that if President Bush had attempted to uncover all the crimes of the clinton's, he would have destroyed the government.

There are almost no democrats that don't have the smell of clinton on them. Yes, a lot of republicans too.

We don't have have what it takes to go after and prosecute the criminals and the commies in our government.

I vote that the trials start with kennedy, kerry and hilary.

I want to see what is in hilary's FBI file collection.

President Bush at least attempted to move on with running the government.

OK, I admit that I would love to see him go after all of them in the next term.
