Does this paper have a history of endorsing Republicans for President or is this really out there for them?

Will this get the same publicity the mainstream media has been giving the tiny Crawford, TX newspaper?
AP, I'm talking to you.

Wasn't Jack Kerouac born in Lowell?

John Kerry, on the other hand, has all the attributes of the shape of water when it comes to telling us what he believes and what he'd do for America. Like incoming and outgoing tides, Kerry is content to go with the flow. In a dangerous world infested with sharks, Kerry would be chum at America's expense. SMACK!!!

Lowell, Mass is just outside of Ft. Devens where the ASA had its AIT at least when I was in the Army in the '70s. Could very well be a good Army town.

I used to live in Lowell. Its a quaint mix of 3rd world slum, white working class neighborhoods, and upper middle class old line New Englanders.
I don't recall the paper being Republican or not, but I don't believe they ever liked sKerry.

Dig Gone - You knew the answer to this one before you even replied.
Will bet that this newspaper loses a few subscribers, but they have cajones.

Send letters to your local editors of newspapers...I did:
Today the Lowell, Mass. newspaper (The Lowell Sun), Kerrys Home Town, endorsed President Bush. The Lowell paper has about 100 times the circulation of the tiny Crawford, TX paper so will this get the same publicity the mainstream media has been giving the tiny Crawford, TX newspapers endorsement of Kerry?

I live in Mass and Lowell is not considered just outside of Fort Devens. Lowell is an old mill city with a mixed population and many immigrants. Fort Devens was shut down some years ago incidently. I have no knowledge of the bent of this particular publication, but most in Mass are blatently in the tank for Democrats, the Boston Herald being a notable exception.

It's about national security. What!? You say this even knowing that Bush looked tired in the debate and Kerry is tall?

Let's hope that history repeats itself!
Every newspaper has a slant one way or another so the fact that the Sun may lean to right of center is of no concern to me.

Ha ha ha! Thanks for the humor.
It is rediculous at how shallow the analysis has been. What are we dumbed down to the level of a Jerry Springer audience?

In this year's election, the question isn't whether we are safer now than we were four years ago. We already know the answer. Sure we are and that's because of President Bush. The critical question is: Four years from now, will America be safer than it is today?
The right question, at the right time, in the right words!
New poll question. America will be safer four years from now if the president is:
George W. Bush John F. Kerry Ralph Nader
