I caught the last part of the debate and then TBN played it over so I watched a bit of the beginning.

Bush use to drink because it made that shyness go away and he could socialize easier, well now that he is no longer partaking in self medication I wonder if that causes him extreme stuttering due to his shyness.

I know personally I can write and think but when dealing with more than one person I am mute.

I think it would be good for him to take some type of medication just for certain times to help with the stuttering and nervousness.

If I was in his position I would use a medicinal therapy for times like tonight. I think it would help the stuttering. It must be frustrating knowing what you want to say and not being able to get it out.

Also the look on his face when listening and looking at Kerry tickled me it was a look of "you have got to be kidding me, this guy is clueless"

I can just see the left making a big issue out of his stuttering and using it as a way to say it is connected to his thought process.
We all have gliches some obvious some not so much.

And Kerry will be remembered as saying we did not need the tax cut, another tax and spend liberal, and a millionare one at that (who married his money and did not earn it.)

I still think Kerry's close was too long and "nuanced".

It seemed long, but he was within his time limit. Though I agree with you somewhat about "nuanced". How many people who would want Kerry's leadership would be motivated to actively vote for him, rather than passively "letting him be their leader"?

I am watching a rerun and Kerry said about Iraq.

"We have weapons of mass destruction crossing the border every day."

Oooooops!

Well, remember that Clinton never did crack the 50% vote.

So, at least half of the people agreed with you (and I do to)

My husband is definitly a moderate (leans to the left just a tad) but he thought President Bush won big. Interestingly, I didn't think President Bush won "big", but held his own. My husband thought Kerry insulted his intelligence ( BTW, he's a MENSA member) and was condescending. I was surprised at his take on it, but am glad to hear it.

That is part of what is scary about this election. It may be their last shot. How far are they willing to go?

"Who can sift through well over 2,500 posts! So someone may have already said it, but Kerry did make one flub that I did not see anyone on the Internet catching yet:
KERRY WENT TO THE OLD KGB BUILDING IN MOSCOW (with Senator Bob Smith). That area is called "Lubyanka Square" NOT "TREBLINKA SQUARE."

Lurch just placed a notorious Nazi concentration camp in Poland right into Soviet Russia!!"

LOL LOL You are right. I did see that mentioned on one of the blogs like Instapundit tonight. He so wants to name drop yet gets it wrong. He didn't do his homework. This is not an obscure fact, by the way. How could he have been a senator watching world affairs during the cold war and not know that the KGB was headquartered in the Lubyanka. The old Lubyanka prison is notorious.

Like someone posted earlier. Kerry said a lot stupid things tonight.
