I couldn't agree more. Watching focus groups, whether run by a Republican or Democrat, is like watching water drip from the faucet. There is no point to it and you want nothing more than to turn it off.
I am glad that they won't be doing focus groups anymore, but I do think it reflects poorly on MSNBC if they fired Luntz simply based on Brock's criticism. But it wouldn't surprise me. After all, it is MSNBC that hires trained ballet dancers to be political analysts.
Other than what I see on his show, all I know about Chris is that his father is Mike Wallace.
What do you know about Tony Snow?
Don't know where their vote will go .. but it does seems the liberals are worried about losing thier base
I am almost certain Brock is a member of DU.
Scary .. this thing we call life .
The problem is not "Why hire anybody that spins the news?"
The problem is that liberals cannot see there is any other side to the story than the liberal POV.
Chris is minding his p's and q's because he is on FOX. But if he were on MSNBC or NBC and he wasn't spinning the news the liberal way, he would be out the door as fast as Frank Luntz.
But the funny thing, Brock was one of the top conservatives in the 90s.
There is a problem with the title.
I'm beginning to think your estimate might not be too far off if current trends continue.
Nam Vet
And look what happened to Jay Leno.
He's being shuffled out the door and the frat boy with wrinkles is taking over his job, because he tried to be a tiny bit fair.
Tony Snow used to be a speech writer, plays in a band, and is by far the most intellectual conservative on the radio that I've found. He manages to keep his show clean, treat callers respectfully, and always provide a calm, reasonable view. I haven't yet found anything to gripe about. The way you ask the question, however, makes me suspect there is something big that I don't know that you are going to share in a moment.
Huh? One of the most confusing posts of the year.
I'm still waiting for the day that you post something that makes the least bit of sense.
The way you asked your question, I thought you were going to list 300 journalism awards that Chris Wallace had won and claim he was the best thing since sliced bread.
A list is being compiled of special 'rats, and I'm suggesting an addition to it.
Do you know who Chad Clanton is?
I never put much stock in them. 17-20 "undecided" voters all from the same city. Hardly a real sample. But to be honest, I still always wanted to watch. Didn't really matter what they said, curiosity just got the best of me. Would be neat if they setup maybe 20 different sites, each with perhaps 50 people, and provide aggregate info with some quotes. I still wouldn't put much stock in it, but at least it would be slightly more realistic.
I know you like Luntz!
Read through the posts
Nah. I don't know him at all, other than catching him ten times or so on Fox News Sunday. He always comes across to me like he's conservative, but attempting to be extraordinarily fair. I admit total ignorance on his background or political views--he doesn't come across as implanting his own views in every interview he conducts.
I have gotten several complaints. Can you reword the title? Thank you.
