RE: Rangle and his Ranglers/ Draft bill author...
Heard the same, they're trying to lay bait for the GOP on the Draft issue, hopefully no one will give it a second glance...

No, that`s a fake pic some Freeper made and posted on another thread. The real pic has him balancing on a railroad track, but the point is he doesn`t have to do that to mock the dead Viet vets. He did that already when he called them baby killers.

I got one of those draft-scare emails. I replied to everyone on the list with this:
"If you want to vote against the party which has sponsored both the bills about the draft, you will have to vote Republican. That's right, the bills were sponsored and introduced by Democrats.
HR 163 - was introduced by New York Democrat Rep. Charles Rangel on Jan. 7, 2003
Senate bill is S. 89, was introduced by Democrat Ernest Hollings of South Carolina, also on Jan. 7, 2003."

Thanks for this work. Another very interesting story. I am just appauled at what is going on here in the US MSM media. It's acting just like the leftist media in Canada.

If Bush is President it is highly unlikely the draft will be activated.
What these dolts don't understand is that if Kerry is elected he will be far more likely to institute the draft.
I say this because I seriously doubt under a Kerry administration the recruiting goals will be met, reenlistment will be down as well.
Furthermore, under a Kerry administration the US will retreat into isolationism; during that time Islamofacism will grow and spread. It is likely, as we saw in the 1930's, conflict will not be avoided. It will find us, only on a more grander scale.
Cutting and running (appeasement) only exacerbates and delays the inevitable. Yes, Neville Chamberlain is a live and well, he lives on through John Kerry.

Bush has ruled out the draft. Actually, he still needs to do that (i.e. rescind the Peanut crumb left on the list of outstanding Executive Orders).

Bush has ruled out the draft.
The only problem is that no one believes him. That's why he needs to abolish registration. Until he does, there's just no answer when the people spreading this propaganda point out that he could do so with a stroke of the pen... but hasn't.

The Draft Hoax is also being heavily promoted by CBS' sister station, MTV, which is also owned by VIACOM and works hand-in-hand with Rock the Vote. Pajamahadeen bump

Another fact going hand in hand with this is heavy voter registration on college campuses. Despicable.
To: steve-b
Obviously, he's not going to say that under no circumstance will he resurrect the draft. He's gone about as far as he can by stating that he has no plans to do so, and sees no need for it.
If I were him, I'd point out that it is Kerry who wants to increase troop numbers in Iraq, not him. We don't need more troops. You don't fight terrorists with large armies. That just increases the number of targets for the terrorists. What we need is better intelligence, but frankly, our role is winding down in Iraq. Come January, it's going to be the Iraqis' show.

I have a phony document that asserts CBS is a news organization.
