But I'm sure this article was taken out of context and doesn't really mean what it says - just like Kerry and his excuse for voting for the war (i.e. he wasn't voting for the war when he voted for the war, he was simply giving the president a firmer hand with which to request an 18th U.N. resolution).

In trying to explain that when Clinton was president, everyone supported getting rid of Saddam and agreed that he had WMD, I got the following response from a Bush-Hater: "That is typical of Bush. Why doesn't he take responsibility for his actions? It's always, 'It's Clinton's fault' or it's someone else's fault. How come the buck doesn't stop with Bush?"

You're right. And we need to do it over and over. Because people have short memories.
I have had a fair number of letters to the editor published in the local newspaper (which is conservative) using stuff I've found on FR and the Senate Intelligence Committee and 9/11 Commission Report.
It's amazing the people I meet who remember my name and ask me where I get that stuff and when I tell them how easy it is to look up and about FR, they are intrigued and it's a constant reminder to people to not accept the media's spin on stuff.
