I've been very busy and can only stay for a minute. This is our rush time of the year at our business and PapaBear needs help with some of the portrait retouching, so that is taking up most of my time. But I check in and lurk as often as I can. Nothing can keep me away for long. :-)

His name was Phudd. He is no longer with us. He died a few days shy of his third birthday.

He is greatly missed.

Here is a picture of Jim Rob, Phudd and me. The goof in the background is humblegunner.

(((((lori)))))) Hugs back at you! Hey sitahs...Batteries died on our wireless mouse and Mr. D. is gone for a few days... (he always takes care of that techno stuff!) Just FINALLY figured out how to "reset" it myself. Was going through serious freeper withdrawal!

Please give us the strength, Lord, to get through each difficult and devastating day that faces each of us and our country. Protect and guide our Military that are now being called to duty, strengthen them in their trials and temptations; give them courage to face the perils which beset them; and grant them a sense of your abiding presence wherever they may be; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

The Good Lord sure knew what He was doing when He created this world ... and what an Eye for detail ... tucking away gifts of Love and Devotion here, there and everywhere, to enrich and comfort us as we struggle though our journeys.

I had a recent encounter with a group of horses, cows and calves, a couple of bulls and a very friendly mule ... it was like being in the middle of a flock of angels ... )

We faired pretty well here. The storm just made a big mess of things, lots of limbs down and a few small trees. Spent the day on Saturday cleaning it all up. The weather has been the best we've had here all summer since Ivan blew through. Sunny with gorgeous blue skies!

Afternoon JW. There is something so peaceful about God's creatures. My neighbor has a herd of cattle that come up to the property line. Daisy and the cattle exchange some strange looks between each other. :)

Thanks for running this sweet story again. Sigh! I don't think we can ever get tired of reading stories about our furry friends. How in the world could ANYBODY not get a warm smiley feeling inside when they read about these intelligent and sweet creatures.

Canine helpers, yes a heartwarming story. Angels on earth come in all forms, and these wonderful Canine helpers certainly are angels. Love the photo of Giz, Rusty and Fred, very cute. My pup, Lucy isn't a 'Canine helper', but is an angel to me :-)
