Or stop, stop, your facts and logic are killing our presentations.

Hmmm...sounds like the "ex" Communists don't have a very high regard for their children. I was wondering why all the children kept coming out naked in Beslan. Was it a school or an orphanage? I wonder...

It would appear that you have finally said something productive, MarMena.

I thought I had already seen the most despicable vileness you were capable of uttering. But with this outrage, you have proved me wrong. Now I take steps.

Ok, if it's a private board, and it's not yours, then quit calling for the burning of books that you have no right to burn. And quit acting like a jerk to everyone you disagree with.

The children in the school were forced to sit closely in temperatures above 90 degrees. They were also denied water for 50+ hours, as well as being denied the opportunity to use the bathroom when they needed to. Once you have sweated enough, you would probably strip to your underwear as well and especially if you were forced to urinate on yourself.

Btw, a story posted here recently shows what the terrorist scum were really up against and how badly they truly lost.

A 13 year old child of my church, wearing a cross, had a gun focused on him in the bedlam at the end of the seige. The terrorist had noted his cross and told the child, "Pray!"

The child took the time to turn to the terrorist, after having been without food or water for several days, and said to the man with a gun on him, "Christ is Risen". Then the child leaped out the window and successfully escaped.

Never doubt the power of Christianity in Russia when children are doing things like this.

MarMena, if you are such a big Christian, then why do go out of your way to provoke and make fun of other people's sincerely held beliefs?

Oh I am a terrible sinner. The first among sinners.
A 13 year old child puts me to shame with his faith under adversity.

No that's better. I too am a horrible sinner. See, we have something in common.

You know how funny things are? This morning I was given an assistant to help me at the clinic where I worked, and she is from Russia.

We began talking some and it turns out her sister has a boyfriend in Russia who is related to someone who lives next door to Putin, and she has been there.

They are gangsters, filthy rich, and Putin had put one of them in jail for a few months, so they hate him. Not she or her sister, but the group who own this home next door to Putin.

She said Putin is a very strong Christian but also very, very wealthy.

In fact, I'm such a bad sinner, that when I "hear of wars and rumors of wars" I'm actually alarmed!

I too have a rather queer story. I was once visiting a city in California. I was driving down the street and saw two identical Russian Orthodox churces directly across the street from each other. My curiosity got the better of me and I pulled over and went into one of them to get to the bottom of this mystery. I was greeted by a priest who told me that when the church was first started everything was just fine. But soon, shady Russian characters began showing up for services. Soon they were pushing ecumenism and trying to turn the congregation against the priest. He said it didn't take long before both he and the congregation smelled a rat, and ejected what the priest described as Russian agents. According to the priest, these same unsavory characters bought a piece of property directly across the street and built an identicle looking church. They even painted it in the same colors. Ever since, he said they have been dueling for new converts. The one teaches standard Russian Orthodox doctrine, while the other preaches ecumenism. I've always wanted to take time off work and travel back there to find out more. And I expect, one of these day I will do just that.

Now that sounds more like Russians. Which city was it, do you recall?

There you go again attacking people not ideas. You make your posts and links then when people read them and tell you they don't agree with you then you attack the person.

You think you win when you run people off but you're changing no minds here all you're doing is revealing your true nature.

Are you going to respond to my #289 or not.

Never saw it. And like I said, I was provoked. There is an upshot, though. I think MarMena and I just made up. I feel bad about how things turned out. All I can do is ask God for forgiveness (and a longer fuse!!!).

Some have, IMO. I think those countries who practice traditional Islam (such as Turkey) have come a lot further in terms of joining the modern world than those countries, such as Iran, that have bastardized their own religion.

PS I would be remiss if I failed to mention how much the Soviets have radicalised the Middle East using phony religious leaders and "terrorism in Muslim disguise."

Sorry. The Bible says "You will hear of war and rumors of wars, DO NOT BE ALARMED. Get it now?
