So what do you think? Do you think the public will buy the "misled" BS?
Check this:
Two special deputies of FreeRepublic's Pajama Patrol smelled something rotten floating in the moat surrounding CBS, and risking contamination, jumped in and captured this floundering giant fraudfish. (Blue dots added to protect identity. Note to CBS detectives: Scratch the blue dots on your screen with a coin to learn their identities.)
"Those officials, who asked not to be identified, said CBS News....was mounting an intensive news investigation of where they came from."
***
AHEM. Isn't that what you were supposed to do BEFORE airing the story?
LOL!!! I especially like this: "Note to CBS detectives: Scratch the blue dots on your screen"
I called CBS News at 212-975-3691 and asked "Why Dan Rather's statement did not include an apology to the American People and the President"
Answer: "I don't believe the President wants an apology"
CLICK !
I suspect that anyone touring through the CBS facility tomorrow will notice an unusual amount of computer monitors with scratches all over the screen. Some will be fortunate enough to actually see a busy little re-write clerk over in a corner frantically scratching through the glass in hopes of being the first one to discover who the special deputies are.
Let them wither and die. I am not watching Dan admit what everyone already knew.
I gave up on network news years ago.
'MISLED'??? Never more willingly, I suspect
I think when you walk up the steps, but the noose around your neck, and kick the lever yourself you cannot call it misleading, it is called CARREER SUICIDE
...not really, but it does confirm what the THINKING public has been saying for years.
..insofar as the rest of the public...hand them a beer...their not paying attn.
It looks like a common stinkfish, but I could be wrong.
