What is happening more and more in Iraq is common thugs kidnapping people strictly for money. Not sure if this is one of those or if it is political.

The way I understand it is, that if your a private contractor in Iraq,you are not allowed to carry a weapon unless you are hired for security. Can anyone tell me if this is correct?
