I've seen the ad twice here in Las Vegas on the ABC station.
Who produces these? They are great.
I haven't seen the ad, but I read the complaint.
It seems that ABC is saying that since Kerry said he only threw away ribbons, and the Swift Vets say he chunked medals, they (the swift vets) are misrepresenting the piece of footage.
They don't have a leg to stand on.
Bump to top.
That's a good thing. "Bump to the top."
It's like: "Hey everybody, read this one!"
It is good. I am hoping to see one on his 1971 comments on the bogus Winter Soldier investigation. I know some Viet Nam vets that have been waiting a long time for vindication on that one.
they show his saying it was ribons...
It's been on FOX here in NY a lot! I've seen it so much, I thought the vets came out with a new one when I saw this post!
Oliver North says Kerry can't quit talking about Viet Nam because of his demons from that time. I wonder...guilty conscience? Me thinks he doth protest too much?
I downloaded the file but yes, it's still rather abrupt, almost jerky. They make their point but it's not as good as earlier offerings. Hopefully it's a filler until a good one on VVAW, Paris, POW/MIA Committee in 90s etc.
They show him saying it was both, in two different time frames.
i think you people are getting the ads confused.. this is a new ad.. not with the hippie throwing the medals away..
are you sure you are talking about the same ad? this a new one NOT the one with the hippie throwing the medals away..
Medals? Ribbons? Absolutely the same thing. Six or one-half dozen or the other...
I think it's pretty good. Showing Kerry arguing with himself is genius. Not sure everybody will get it though.
Thats what it means to be a politician, you always have your words used agianst you, your supposed to be thinking about this before you open your mouth.
Thanks, and nice to make your aquaintenace.
I think the Swift Vets could show a turd going down the toilet and say it was John Kerry, and they'd still be telling the truth.
