It is noted briefly, but there's no link to it.

Apparently, it's just advance info and the poll comes out officially tomorrow.

whatever, I like it!

. . . oops, reread the article and found the information (could they have buried it any deeper?!).

Actually, I was hoping you were a Gallup subscriber so that you could give us a preview of the poll's more comprehensive findings!

Keep reading and reading and reading and reading.

It's in there.

I think it took less time for the Whale to appear in Moby Dick.

Notice the way Yahoo news spins and buries the huge (14 point!) Bush lead

It's probably still under embargo and perhaps Yahoo decided to break the embargo, and kinda bury it.

Gallup does this poll with USA Today and CNN. They get first dibs at putting out details. Yahoo seems to have beat them to it.

Kerry wouldn't survive two minutes in an inteview with O'Reilly, that's to be sure.

I don't share your confidence, BOR can really suck up for that access.

If somebody has a fact based reason to explain this result when Harris and Pew both showed a dead heat, please inform us.

Actually this is in line with all the State polls coming out yesterday showing Bush pulling to within 4 and 8 of Kerry in Illinois and New York. Heck 4 point gains for Buch in almost every pro-Kerry state. If anything Pew and Harris need explaining.

Ping to CBS radio.
I was just out running and the CBS radio report at the top of the hour gleefully announced that President Bush's " convention bounce had disappeared."

If you read the piece, the good news is buried in the bottom of the article.

"CBS just published an article saying Kerry's "back on track"

ha ha ha"

Well, it IS CBS.

Awesome news, but let's not get overconfident. Think like it's a tie.

Correct. As I stated on another thread, Kerry will making hay out of the NIE report with the full help of the MSM. His last best hope is Americans dying in Iraq.

And how does this square with the other polls today showing a tie?

One of the polls that showed a tie was released by Pew Research, which is a notoriously left wing think tank whose polls have consistently favored Kerry. If Pew has Kerry and Pres. Bush tied, I'd tend to think that means Bush is up by at least 5 to 6 points. I don't know about the other polls.

I see a different dynamic this year. The nature of Kerry's negatives are such that I believe once folks become aware (fake medals, post war testamony, etc). that it takes on a "ratchet" effect. The negatives are locked into place, not to change again.

I don't see undecideds doing a lot of moving around once they see things like the Swift Vets and the CBS fake memos.

I'm sure they were adding paragraphs to the story just to bury it deeper.
