I half-seriously thought the same thing myself. I don't see how any reasonable person could look at those for more than half a second and consider them to be legit -- and Karl is sharp enough to know that the msm are far from reasonable, would fall for it, and would QUICKLY get exposed.
He said that CBS has not returned any of his many phone calls, and he's not aware of any statements CBS has made about this issue. Brit said, maybe CBS has "an explanation and we all await wait with interest."

Jim Angle also pointed out that the DNC has chosen to be right out front there about the fact that they themselves are accusing Bush of dereliction of duty. He called it 'risky strategy' or something very like that. Reminds me a little bit of the Middle Eastern bombmakers whose bombs go off while they're still around. Risky indeed.

Free Republic website has list of 60 minutesII's sponsors and CBSII's e-mail address. Everyone should e-mail CBS advising they will not buy any sponsored product/service until CBS publishes independent scientific authentication of the documents, or a retraction and apology.
Anyway, they media is so arrogant THEY---not the KERRY MANAGERS---are "running" the campaign and they think they can do it better than Kerry. It's a beautiful thing to watch. I never thought I'd see the meltdown of the leftist media, but it's happening before our eyes.
