That's the new French car that turns itself off when you push the brake pedal. :)

Just what we need: a muscle car with a hood scoop connected to a turbo-charged bug injector.

Man, between here and the farm, I could pick up enough bugs to power Houston. Just on my windshield.

The new machine is being developed by a team of robotics experts at the University of the West of England (UWE) in Bristol. The EcoBot II will attract insects by emitting a stench concocted from human excrement.

Michael Moore should also be alarmed. Of course it would take thousands of those robots.

The EcoBot II will attract insects by emitting a stench concocted from human excrement. FYI
To: Willie Green
It should work well in France.

Not to stand in the way of progress but wouldn't it be cheaper to go out in your backyard, take a crap, and blast all bugs with insecticide? Or am I missing the beauty of the science here?

The EcoBot II will attract insects by emitting a stench concocted from human excrement. This is not going to be a stealthy robot...

Or am I missing the beauty of the science here?Yes, you are missing the point. The purpose of this technology is not to kill flies. It is to give robots independent, permanent power sources. Currently, there is solar power, but not everywhere we want to send robots has sunlight. Bugs are almost everywhere.
