Bahaiism is the worst form of Islam

Why? I thought the Bahai'is were peaceful and were persecuted by the Shi'ite Muslims.

Do you know if the Bahai's also believe in the veil? Are women given equal rights in the faith? I know they're even stricter than Muslims when it comes to alcohol, gambling and other religious tenants.

Editing the Quran would certainly have positive potential.

"It's sad that those pretty girls are actually risking their safety and lives by daring to show their faces --- the mullahs want them to hide their faces in shame under those hideous rags"

Iranian women do not have to hide or veil their faces. It's only their hair that must be covered.
Common penalty for not properly covering the hair or dressing improperly is lashing, though not always. Some may receive a big fine to pay.

Re: "Religions can be interpreted in moderate ways or Radical ways. It is up to us who/how to be!"

Not so in the case of Islam.

Craig Wynn says:

"Islam rises and falls on Muhammad. He is the doctrine’s sole prophet, its lone founder, its god’s singular conduit. Yet the picture the Islamic scriptures paint is not flattering. I analyzed the five most holy Islamic books and spent two years studying Muhammad and his message. What I found was bone chilling. The depiction of the prophet by the most revered Muslim sources is horrendous. Nearly every page reveals behavior that is immoral, criminal, and violent. The five oldest and most trusted Islamic sources don’t portray Muhammad as a great and godly man. They reveal that he was a thief, liar, assassin, mass murderer, terrorist, warmonger, and an unrestrained sexual pervert engaged in pedophilia, incest, and rape. He authorized deception, assassinations, torture, slavery, and genocide. He was a pirate, not a prophet. According to the Hadith and the Qur’an, Muhammad and his henchmen plundered their way to power and prosperity. And by putting the Qur’an in chronological order and correlating it with the context of Muhammad’s life as it was reported in the Sira, Sunnah and Hadith, we also find that Allah mirrored his prophet’s character. Muhammad’s god condoned immoral and criminal behavior. Allah boasts about being a terrorist. He claims to have deceived men, to have stolen their property, to have enslaved women and children, to having committed acts of murder, genocide, and sadistic tortures."

"He is the doctrine’s sole prophet, its lone founder, its god’s singular conduit."

That right there is a fallucy. Mohammed is not the sole prophet of Islam. Islam has several holy prophets including Abraham, Moses, and Jesus. Mohammed is merely the last in line in their religion. Further, Muslims do not pray to Mohammad.

You can read the book Prophet of Doom online to clarify your beliefs:

Also this is a great essay by Ali Sina, a former Muslim:

excerpt:
"An unbiased study of Quran shows that far from being a “miracle” that book is a hoax. Quran is replete with scientific heresies, historic blunders, mathematical mistakes, logical absurdities, grammatical errors and ethical fallacies. Could possibly the author of this Universe be as ignorant as it appears to be in Quran?"

I think what is missing regarding the "interpretation" mentioned previously and your take on Islam, is that religions are practiced differently, depending on the individual.. Obviously, muslims may be more or less devout as christians or practioners of any religion. That's why there are more secular, moderate, or conservative muslims, (as there are Orthodox, Conservative and Reformed Jews, for example) and not all muslims are radical, militant terrorists.

There are good people in any movement. The problem is that Islam corrupts. All you need to do is read the scriptures to see that. Muhammad claimed that Moses was Islamic, yet the 10 commandments are not mentioned once anywhere in Islam because Muhammad broke them all. Muhammad claimed that Jesus was Islamic, yet love and compassion are completely missing because Muhammad had none. All you find when reading Islamic scriptures is hate, fear, damnation, violence etc.

When I criticize Islam, I have compassion for the millions of people trapped in it, I want them to be free. Read up on some of the links provided for guidance.

Thanks for analysis.

You are so bright for sure but in ARABIC Language, Islam means PEACE. May be Mohammad meant Jesus and Moses were peaceful or they were peace lovers.

That is what I heard in a trip in an Islamic country!

Actually Islam means submission. Many Muslims are great folks, no doubt, but Muhammad taught that it is right and proper to deceive non-believers. The Islam is peace thing is one of those deceptions.

I can't stress enough the importance of reading over those materials. They are quite entertaining as well as informative.

Regards

You are right. Mohammad was not a prophet, he was an Arab philosopher or a thinker!

How I long for, and PRAY for the day when the people living in this region of our world will be free...even to make their own mistakes, not those of their tyranical governments.

It's interesting that when Iranians come to the US, one of the first things that happens is that they shed their Islam. There are nore than 60 Iranian-American churches in California.

Very true, but the reason why is because Iran, unlike any other country in the direct region has a strong pre-Islamic history.
