Zell Miller Thank You Thread

We congratulate Mr. Zell Miller for his extraordinary courage! It takes a true man to act as he did! May God bless him and his family! I also want to say that you have renewed my faith in the America I and my family always refused to believe was on its way to extinction! Again, God bless you and yours!

To Senator Zell Miller:

I've now watched your speech from the Republican convention a few times, once during the convention and a couple more times later. By the way I've also watched your delicious dust-up with Chris Matthews a few times. That's tellin' him, Senator!

Kathleen Parker, in her article "The Zell Factor," in Townhall.com said "Heartland Americans... were high-fiving and arm-pumping, yessssssssssss" during your speech. That was me too, all alone in my house, punching the air and yelling "yesssssssss." It was such a relief: someone telling the truth in unvarnished terms, telling it like it is.

I'm not a heartlander, but a left-coaster from Portland, Oregon and a lifelong Democrat like yourself. I'm voting for George Bush for the same reason you and ex-New York mayor Ed Koch are: I want George Bush at the helm in this battle against Islamic terrorism!

Just a quick update. I took the thank you thread to Senator Miller's office earlier this week. I printed it out and stuck it in a nice binder. If the Senator sends us a response, I'll post it as soon as I get it.

A good note, the secretary asked me if I knew where to get Bush/Cheney yard signs. She told me a lot of people had been coming to the office looking for Bush signs. I told her that I would try to find some for her.

It signals to me that these would be democrats, since the Republicans in the area would probably go to the GOP headquarters.

Anyway, will let you all know.
