In other words the Earth's flatulence has dire consequences.

Co-worker is freaking out on me "the Klingon on the left is John Larroquette from Night Court!" Help me out here. Do you know if this is true?

As an ice-age progresses, more water is tied up in ice caps and glaciers.
Sea Level is lower, and hydrostatic pressure on the Methane hydrates is reduced.
Would this cause venting, green house effects and rewarming of the planet?
It may be part of a neat temperature regulation process that keeps the planet from becoming an iceball.

Do you know if this is true? Not as far as I know, no. :)

"the Klingon on the left is John Larroquette from Night Court!" Yes, he did play a Klingon. Whether that's him in the pic, I'm not sure.

I haven't read this because I am not very scientific minded but does this have anything to do with farting in an elevator?
I want to state clearly..... it wasn't me!
