How do they distinguish between a "Ho" costume and a "Britney Spears" costume?
To: antifem
Even Halloween is no longer innocent and hasn't been for quite some time.

The "HO" costume is more modest and respectable.

We probably shouldn't be surprised or shocked at this in a culture where mommies and daddies taking their 10 year old sons to Hooters for birthday parties is considered hip.

My wife dressed up as a hooker for a halloween party last year wearing platform shoes like these:

She fell and broke her foot. I suggested that this year she dress like a nun.

a flapper outfit? Because it is, er was, until they got a new marketing type that didn't know what a "flapper" was, and is too lazy to look it up.
To: MikeWUSAF
Looks more like late '20s Speakeasy garb than anything you'd see on a working girl at Hunt's Point in the Bronx.

Sweet. Old Milwaukee is the only thing I miss from my drinkin' days.

I suggested that this year she dress like a nun. A very easy costume to make at home. My wife did it one year. It was a gas because all our friends knew she's Jewish so she wore a big silver Star of David necklace as an accessory.

They should produce a "Travis Bickle" costume for balance.
