"The Usual Suspects" type, so I think it is more than possible that he has renounced his old life. That is what Christians usually do when they repent.
If this is the Steven Baldwin I think it is, I was unaware of his Conservative standing. His brother, if I have the right guy, Alec is one elitist liberal Democrat hack who inspires you to pure hate every time he opens his mouth in your presence. He said he was going to leave the country when BUsh won in 2000, but I see he is still here. If this Steve is what you say he is...he needs to lose his last name. BALDWIN is not a name that inspires patriotism!!
God bless Stephen Baldwin and his family's courage to be who God called them to be, regardles of their own personal status in this world and that of his famous family. What a down to earth guy.

Stephen Baldwin was on a Christian TV show a few months ago--I was channeling surfing and he caught my attention. During the interview he acknowledged that he now only considers acting roles which are in line with his Christian beliefs.
I think that last name recognition is doing what it is supposed to:
"probably two to three times a week he walks down the street in New York and probably folks who are visiting New York City from the South and this and that ... will go, ‘Oh, my, Alec Baldwin.’ And he’ll go, ‘Oh, how are you. Nice to meet you.’ And they’ll go, ‘Please tell your brother, Stephen, God bless him for everything he’s doing for Jesus.’"
