See #15; thanks.
Two brothers confront the third, he turns out to be a murderer. How sad. Not only can he not live up to the first two, but they have to turn him in.
Lori is the victim here, may she RIP.
Sorry, I didn't see that you corrected yourself. The way they used the pronouns it was easy to misread.
Admin Moderator - you're welcome to put me out of my misery by killing all my irrelevant posts on this thread. Thanks.
Okay, folks, let's get this straight...
Scott = brother
Lance = brother
Doug = father
Mark = scumbag murderer
Lori = wife/victim of scumbag murderer (Mark)
Can't tell the players without a scorecard.
Calm down, Hank....we don't want you to suffer a "psychological breakdown" and head to your local hardware store or anything....
Everybody -- SLOWLY BACK AWAY FROM THE KEYBOARD.....
:-)
To make it even clearer...
Mark = scumbag murderer
Scott = brother of scumbag murderer
Lance = brother of scumbag murderer
Doug = father of scumbag murderer
Lori = wife/victim of scumbag murderer (Mark)
I am a trial follower and "why not just leave" is always the question ...and there is always a secret the murderer wants to hide...Protecting one's"image" with the community, family, protecting the pocketbook, hiding the affair, etc seems to be important the reasons in these high profile cases...Murder is the highest % cause of death in pregnant women I have learned.
Gee, I feel so sorry for this scumbag I can hardly type.
"You mean to tell me its not his fault because he couldnt hack (hehe) it in the real world "
I think you are reading more into his fathers words than were said. He said he felt pressure, he didn't say it wasn't his fault.
Not your fault.
When you have 'dead pregnant wife' and 'Scott' in the same story its hard not to think of that Peterson guy.
When you have 'dead pregnant wife' and 'Scott' in the same story its hard not to think of that Peterson guy.
An excuse? Cool! You've conferred victim-status upon me! I'm free!
The stat is "murder accounts for 20% of pregnant women deaths." High but still 20%.
FYI
They are always think they smarter than the average murderer and think they would never be suspected because they had the facade of a great life, good marriage, wonderful persona, also they are impatient to solve"the problem". There are all those unsolved murder statistics to make them secure...if they are really thinking at all..
It is usually a suspension of all rational thinking that gets me. They get resentful and impatient.They don't want the hassle, the exposure of their real life, the time it takes or the financial burden of a divorce. Image is a powerful motivater and the ability to control. The WHY would they DO this always is my greatest frustration...

Yes , that was the Maryland study..Here's an interesting insight into some of the WHYs of the murder.
Did I miss something here?
My theory is she confronted him on Friday but he smoothed things over with her by saying the school had a mixed up the names or something. He knew he didn't have much time left before she exposed him so on sunday when she fell asleep he killed her. I also believe he wanted to continue this make believe lifestyle and he knew he couldn't continue it with her. I also believe there may be more to the story and that mark may be involved in illegal activities that he doesn't want family to know about.
