The weakness in this whole situation is that The Bush-Cheney ticket does not provide a logical successor to challenge Hillary in 08. Hopefully the "rapture" would have happened by then.

Hopefully the "rapture" would have happened by then. You forgot the sarcasm tag unless you really are praying for the end of the world.

America is still too bigoted to elect a female and a black to the presidency.
To: Archangelsk
The end of the world, starting with the Rapture, would be a blessing compared to having 16 years of Dim presidents. For us believers anyway...

Bush after his 2008 can be succeeded by Jeb Bush. All in the family; a la banana republic of Syria?

Hopefully the "rapture" would have happened by then. Jehovah's Witnesses useda be the authority on the subject with exact dates and other details. Wouldn't hurt to axe them!

"America is still too bigoted to elect a female and a black to the presidency."
I thought Clinton was the first black president. And if Kerry wins (God help us all), he's such a sissy that he'd qualify as the first female pres.

They wouldn't even crack 40% of the vote. Hillary will be the candidate in '08 but she is unelectable. Obama is a hatemongerer. We are not that far gone YET.

No, and my odds are increased, due to the non participating of the lottery.

We have some fine people in the party that will be shoved into the ring sometime during the next two years for vetting.
I consider the Jeb Bush idea interesting, but too dynasty like and not likely to happen.
There is plenty of talent available.
Plenty!

This is why Condi must run for office in the next four years. I would love a McCain/Rice ticket. Or Rice/McCain.
There are a ton of Republicans. I'm not a fan of Jeb Bush running 2008, it would just be too close and smack of a mini-kingdom.
To: Wonderama
I like Condi, but forget McCain. He has too many issues that would surface.(or re-surface)

There is nothing wrong with praying for the fullfilment of prophecy.
There isn't an end, per se. but new beginning. There will be a new heaven and a new earth. Believers are in hope of the rapture to be rid of this world full of sin and to be with the Lord in heaven.
The only persons interested in staying on earth are those that love the world and do not bellieve in Jesus. Jesus said if you love the world, you can not love me.

Hear me now and believe me later. Obama is not going anywhere politically in the next 10 years other than possibly the U.S. Senate.
