I wish FR would be as widely viewed as possible. The news on this site is what the old media just wont let out to the general public. They dont talk about the good we are doing in Iraq-just the bad. Likewise with Bush, the economy, you name it. If I didnt see it here and had to rely on CNN, I would think the world was ending.

Wow. The search took place under the NEWS hierarchy. Since when is DU news? The effect is that something published at DU yesterday got picked up in the much-more-immediate Google spidering than if it were a website or a blog. For non-news sources, it can take a week to show up on Google, if ever.
I wonder how DU got such a designation...

Post #66....no, this is not self-promotion -- it is just to let y'all know that I too expressed the same concerns as
treeclimber and did my level best (when I had time) to archive articles that I posted/emailed to family and friends too....I dare say that I have converted SEVERAL people to the FR website this way....not by banging them over the head but being sure to reference to and put a link to FR on my website -- along with the articles posted....FReegards....
