I agree:
Warren Report, Doux
If I remember correctly, Warren set it up so that the entire facts would only be releases 75 years(?) after the event? I believe this is correct: I was a kid, but I remember my father's rage over this ruling.

Hamilton's point about "who is responsible for terrorism response" ... isn't that old pre-Homeland Security think? Tom Ridge has the ball now, doesn't he?
Goldwater-Nickles or Frank Church reform?

It depends on who speaks first, but I guarantee Kerrey, Gorelick, and Bent Peniste will all take their shots.
No hope of any Pub mentioning any Clinton failures. That would appear partisan.

Hamilton is saying that congressional oversight committees need more power. Why, so that more national security information can be leaked to the news media?

A guest on FOX was just saying that this idea was tried by the Soviet Union - didn't work there and contributed to the group think even more.

'We want a new bureaucracy of more committees, and then a super committee to oversee that. We haven't figured out (or even thought of) what that might mean should an anti-American candidate get into the presidency. But these recommendations are UNANIMOUS! So that makes them good. It's democracy in action.'

Which is exactly how Bush should address the report. Telling people that the Commission agrees with him and co-opting the majority of the recommendations.
