The 9/11 Committee is so incompetent and full of grandstanders posing for the cameras that they wouldn't even recognize important pieces of data or drafts went missing. I doubt that Bob Kerrey read thru 50 pages of all the documents available. Jamie Gorelick probably purged her memos right before their eyes and they didn't take notice. Bunch of dupes.

At the end of the day, Archives employees determined that that draft and ALL four or five other versions of the millennium memo had disappeared from the files, this source said.

I guess Berger needs to know what the meaning of 'honest' and 'missing' is.

The classified documents were sensitive enough that employees arrived on a Sunday morning to pick them up. Those are the papers that he returned that were NOT the ones that the NARA people thought were missing.
And if they came out and got them back, the ONLY reason that Berger would hire a lawyer is because he KNEW that those papers were not the ones they were looking for!

Bill Clinton says he's known about this for months. Had a good laugh about it, too. Now I'm really going to bed.

Yes, that was an excellent report.
I'm going to keep an eye out for her stories.

The DUmmies are dismissing the story because of the WP author. lol
To: Remember_Salamis
But Berger allies said he did not inform Kerry because he had resolved to work privately with Justice Department officials
Or rather he wanted to make it big with the Kerry campaign, and if they had known that he was under investigation by the DOJ they would have shunned him like a leper.

Richard Ben-Veniste and Hillry Clinton "What did they know and when did they know it"?
To: lunatic12
But it was an accident, you know? He accidently kept taking the same report over and over.

This is definitely a major scandal, for this article not to be canned by the Editors of the WP is proof enough that this is a huge story

"The notion of one of Washington's most respected foreign policy figures being subjected to treatment that had at least a faint odor of a sting operation is a strange one."
Looks like no matter how lame the idea, it's just as I suspected...
Now it will be interesting to see whether the Ashcroft DOJ inadvertently indicts Sandy Burglar...I count at least five felonies(five trips)

Maybe if Couric and Rather mention sloppy enough times we'll forget about it and move on.

In or on... I am thinking that someone's handwritten scrawl on one of the drafts might be very very worrisome to a certain party or parties right now...
