Militants threaten to behead six new hostages

It's about time we told those assholes that we intend to behead every Iraqi soldier we have in prison in 72 hours. That way no more bargaining chips are on the table!

I like your idea....however I vote for resurrecting the tactics of the Roman Empire. Any person beheaded by these vermin means at least 10 of them are crucified with a wad of pork fat shoved in their mouth and gagged, and yes the bodies left to rot and the birds can pluck out there eyes!

This is more of that jihad stuff, isn't it - waging war against the infidels.

Everybody is an infidel to these people. You're not safe by denouncing Israel, the United States, imperialism, or anything for that matter.

You're not safe if you hail from Kenya, Ghana, China........name a country.

You're a target if you don't subscribe to the Satanic utterings of Allah and his prophet.

.......they grab anybody; they don't care. Another blood sacrifice to their god, another excuse to commit some atrocity.

We are in a war, a war with implications that people seem to want to ignore or run away from. Since terrorists appear so nebulous, I get the feeling that many people feel that this war is a war against wraiths, ghosts, as if our enemy is somebody who never really bleeds or dies, and worse yet, really isn't there to begin with.

It's a war on such a different plane, I don't think people really understand it. Past wars had identifiable enemies, countries with definable borders; if you knock off Berlin, you win. The Germans have been defeated.

Is that a joke??If India had wanted to nuke the Pakis-it is with good enuf reason-Well if India had nuked them-it would surely have saved the US billions in aid&who knows a more easier chance against the Taliban (which they created-but which the US govt always downplayed).

Want the real reasons why India is not interested in sending troops to Iraq(other than the non-aligned unity crap)

1.There are over 6million Indians working in the Persian Gulf nations(do all jobs from that of a janitor to a CEO)-if the wackos there flip their lids-who is going to protect them-American&English expats are far lesser in number&well protected unlike poorer Asian expats.And what about the remittances they send home-it is big big source of investment here.
BTW ,going by this logic-one can say that the Philippines govt too acted with the interest of all its Gulf expats in mind&not the one hostage as many folks here seem to think.

2.India has over 130million Muslims-most of them learn to mind their own jobs&quiet a few of them are very successful-but a good number of them wouldn't mind opposing an Indian action in Iraq-u all know how it is when they show their tantrums

Countries like Poland,South Korea,Japan ,Hungary-dont have substantial number of expats in Islamic countries or as many Muslims-so they can afford to send troops.
