"Don't give them any spin ideas."
lol, btw i heard some good spin by liberals calling into hannity's show. one said "well its not as if he shared them with Al Queda".
No idea whether there is any credence to this story whatsoever. Like many here I am extremely dubious too. On the other hand, if an Iraqi newspaper is reporting this and no-one in the media is picking it up think it should be posted on free republic for us to chew over.
Making my mark.
they are asked to come back and conclude their report
I'm sure they already had it written down before we ever went to war.
They're the latest generation of scud missile-made out of plexiglas. You know, the new, clear missiles.
wow! This is really seriesly hugh!
WMD = stock pile = dismantled components = buried in the sand = not an imminent threat
Empty bombs are a dime a dozen. You don't just pour a little plutonium into them to make a nuke. It's a lot tougher than that.
I've been saying for months now that the discovery of WMDs will become publicized right before or during the first couple days of the Democrat Convention.
Wait a few more days and lets see how it pans out.
Oh my.
Let this be true.
I can't wait to see the Left insisting President Bush was the one who planted them there.
DING DONG The Left is dead
Sure, I have no problem chewing it over, as you say. And thank you for posting and translating it. It is interesting. I just don't want people to get their hopes up, because every time we think we've found "IT," we haven't.
This could be "IT," but I'm not about to hold my breath.
"He was concerned about the environmental impact, and so he buried them, hoping they would never see the light of day. But now, here we go, digging them up and exposing everyone."
If you put two of the nukes on the bottom and then very carefully placed the third on top of the first two; you could call it a stock pile.
Yes it seems that they are playing both sides of the fence. The UN Arms (and Legs) Inspectors are being invited back in (despite leaks notifying Iraq before searches were done).
The claim is being made that the UN inspectors are more qualified than the US coalition troops/inspectors.
Then there is the followup that this is just so that they can conclude their report (like they don't even plan to look hard).
We haven't found large stockpiles of weapons of mass destruction. Then again we haven't found Osama Bin Laden, the source of the anthrax, or a number of other things. Even the Olympic bomber was not found for several years.
It would be foolish to conclude that these things "did not exist" because we did not find them.
You are quite right.
If it is true we will have been some of the first to have heard it - thanks to your post.
If it is not true we will have learned some more re the "fog of news & media".
Cheers,
ScaniaBoy
