Brilliant move by the actor & actress involved -- just ask McLain Stevenson, Wayne Rogers, David Caruso & Suzanne Somers. David Caruso stars in CSI Miami, and Suzanne Somers is a mulit-millionaire selling exercise equipment and videos. I don't know about the other two.
But I disagree with you. CBS just jumped the shark by letting these two people go, plus they're killing the franchise by making two duplicates (CSI Miami and CSI New York). It's very hard to find the right people in a popular series, especially replacements. Viewers will ditch CSI in droves, nobody likes new faces.

Wayne Rogers is a quite successful investor. I see him quite a bit on FOX News, usually on Cavuto or one of the market news shows.
