I was concerned for Mrs. Reagan when I saw how fragile she was, but as soon as Maj.Gen. Jackman appeared I relaxed and knew she was in excellent hands.
Just his presence calmed me down - he was so alert and compassionate all at once and seemed to know instinctively how to calm Mrs. R. down and assure her of the next step in protocol.
He made my day - a beautiful man - the best public relations the military could have.
Bravo Zulu, Major General Jackman!
Thank you for your caring attitude toward our beloved Nancy.
