Yet the 40th will be remembered for Dutch's speech.
The caller alleges Reagan did all this stuff?
He says Reagan was akin to Hitler!?
Look at who represented the U.S. now and 10 years ago. Plus we are at war now.
Remember Clinton during that visit.
Drudge said he's repeating the first hour in the third hour. That's a bummer.
Drudge is effectively ending on that note???
Alright, who's in California and considering going over to the Reagan Library? anyone?
When is the event? I might be able to drive in.
sigh!
I would like to go to D.C. and I just may.
President Reagan will lay in repose tomorrow starting at noon, ending Tuesday at 6 p.m. I'm just wondering whether anyone here is thinking about paying respects.
If I could swing it, I would love to. Can't do it.
Well, if Clinton passes away in early June in a decade, will the press bring up his performance?
Thanks, everyone; before I forget. :-) We'll probably see each other around this week.
Maybe the press will swing the other way by then. hehe
Tuesday... Lainie, let me look into this. I will freepmail you if I can get out there.
In a word - YES!
RR's death coupled with the fact that the WWII Vet's are now dying at the rate of 1100 a day are making a large impact. This is very close to those Veterans last HooRah!
What BS. I hate it when show hosts do hit-and-runs like that. Matt can say whatever he wants and we'll listen. Take an hour of calls. Whatever. I hate listening stuff over again.
I don't like it either. At least we get Peggy again. I suppose that's a silver lining of sorts.
Not a bad thing to bring up at all. I've shared the same thought the past few days. The Reagan family, and especially Nancy, deserve a lot of respect for preserving Ronald Reagan's dignity for these ten years. Kudos to Drudge, too, for really rising to the occasion tonight.
