he'll be working for Kerry within a month

You don't think he's been working for Comrade John F'n Kerry already?

Well, it'll be interesting to guess over the next several months if he's taken any grudges with him..

I really and truly hope my perception of him is correct. I do not think we will be getting a Bush bashing book.

I think this could play out either way. You're right that is how the media spins it, but the Bush team might be able to make hay with it. For example, I could see putting Guiliani in charge might make it a political plus. It makes use of him and his popularity, but in a way that his social liberalism is not a problem.

The Chalabi story will have repercussions and this may be one of them, imho.

I don't think the CIA supported Chalabi. The State Department and CIA were against him. Only the civilians in the Defense Department supported Chalabli.

Simmer away. I've thought for over a year that if either Tenet, Mueller, or ashcroft resigned, Giuliani would be the best replacement.

Tenet may know of some attacks coming this summer, and wants to get the hell out of the way now.

Oh, yeah. Which is why I was wondering about the state of Tenet's coiffure.

I liked him too.

This is really bad timing if this is just for "personal reasons".

HOLD ON TIGHT!!!

This is going to get spun like a merry-go-round powered by a rope attached to a truck!

I do not see Tenet speaking out either. He and Bush seemed to get along OK. Heaven knows what scary conversations the two have had over the WOT. Dana Priest on MSNBC now says that Tenet was good at rebuilding morale at the CIA after it was so bad after the Clinton years. I was shocked.

this is a serious negative development for Bush, 150 days from the election.

No it's not. Nobody but beltway clowns care.

.

Get Former CIA Director JAMES WOOLSEY back in as Director.

JAMES WOOLSEY also supports 9/11 Lifesaving Hero RICK RESCORLA's getting the recognition he so richly deserves.

To sign our U.S. 7th Cavalry's Petition to have BUSH award Killed in Actio RICK RESCORLA the Presidential Medal of Freedom ..go to:

I don't know the history of past CIA directors, but do they usually come from the ranks of the CIA itself, or from outside places (Congress, State Dept, etc?)
If they usually don't come from the CIA itself, then I love the RUDY,RUDY,RUDY idea.

Agreed on the "knowing somthing" I also agree that there is a book and a position in the Kerry admin already waiting. This feels bad. Just a hunch!
