ah, the media, as if the public weren't confused enough already. This is one time I would be more than happy if I were wrong, but nothing short of Specter actively or openly supporting Kerry could remove the scabs over the eyes of Pa's blinded Repubie party...that might not even do it. I also think GWB will have to have at least 10 points on Kerry to overcome the Rendel double/dead vote machine.

I don't live in PA but my take on the whole matter is this- the thing that keeps this discussion about Specter alive is the sad fact that PA, like most other states, has too many Republicans who will not work to get a true conservative Pubbie elected, especially one who is pro-life. Toomey could have won even the general election if every registered Republican got out, voted, and worked to get others out. Granted, the presidential race might have made it a little harder due to allocation of resources and workers, but it could have happened.
I could never, ever have voted for Specter if I lived in PA- I only vote for pro-life Republicans. Good job and keep standing up for the unborn and for principles!
Let us not forget that Hugh Hewitt got 'naked' w/spRectum too...now it appears they're having 'an affair'.
