Nita, isn't that the day the body was found? I wonder if they could tell how long he'd been dead. Not that I've ever heard.
The April 9th date sticks in my mind because it's a birthday in my family, so I've always remembered that one. And the other dates you have in your timeline up there (771) are correct.
I'm about 150 replies behind on this fast-moving thread. Has anyone suggested a separate, new thread yet?

Now there's a very interesting scenario.
I'd have a hard time believing Nick talked negatively in the 20 minute interview, whether he was what he said he was, *or* if he was, as you say, was only "passing" as supportive so he could get into Iraq to do misdeeds.
If he was passing, and planned with Moore to look like he had changed his mind... hmmm. Moore would love that.
But then that would really draw attention to himself. Would he want to risk that? He had already been investigated in Oklahoma... surely he'd know that anything he ever did would cause his entire background to be gone over again, with more skepticism, if he tried that...

I think Nick Berg's father is behind all this crap. That would certainly explain his inexplicable lashing out at Bush for "killing his son." If senior Berg is involved in all this, his guilt and self-rage must be unbearable. SO unbearable, in fact, that he would have to project it or displace it onto someone else just to survive this horror.

LOL Yes, she did! And it was priceless.
He was trying to say she was an extremist who "just had a niche."
So she said, "well, it's an awfully BIG niche, if you compare my book sales to that of "certain other - *wink* authors." O'Reilly, was in visible pain, and had no retort. lol

My theory--they weren't "holding" him at all. I think he started out as a willing "guest."I agree. His Moslem-shaped beard has always been rather strange to me and that would explain it.

If FatAss is not making his Berg interview public, it is most certainly because Nick Berg (jr) said positive things about Operation Iraqi Freedom and President Bush. Nick Berg (jr) was a known supporter Bush and his actions If Moore thought Berg was a Bush supporter before the interview, he would not have bothered to interview Berg.
If Berg talked like a Bush supporter, Moore would not have bothered continuing the interview, and there would not be 20 minutes of footage.
Moore went to the trouble of interviewing Berg, and accumulated 20 minutes of footage. Therefore there is somethingg more here than meets the eye

Yes. He's the same man as mentioned in the articles. We met Aziz in October 2002 when we had the rally that was shown on C-SPAN. He went to Iraq in late summer of 2003.

"I currently have two cameramen/reporters doing work for me in Iraq for my movie (unbeknownst to the Army). They are talking to soldiers and gathering the true sentiment about what is really going on. They Fed Ex the footage back to me each week. That's right, Fed Ex. Who said we haven't brought freedom to Iraq! The funniest story my guys tell me is how when they fly into Baghdad, they don't have to show a passport or go through immigration. Why not? Because they have not traveled from a foreign country -- they're coming from America TO America, a place that is ours, a new American territory called Iraq. "
Source: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1124367/postsDoes he have a problem with freedom in Iraq, without it he wouldn't be able to receive his Fed Ex pkgs. As for that passport/immigration garbage, the old Iraqi government ceased to exist just over a year ago. The new Iraqi government will be in place on June 30th. So, right now its just us mean old, liberating Americans in charge. It is highly unlikely that we'd allow people to come and go at will in a war zone, operating under a Coalition Provsional Government no matter if they hold American passports or not.
It is interesting that he accidently concedes that Iraq is free, that his "free lancers" hold American pasports and speak English.

That is my question as well. Before his beheading, Berg was supposedly just another Joe Blow. If so, then what the hell would Moore be interviewing him about?
It's long past time for the Feds to suponea
this repulsive glob of anti-Americanism and get some answers.
Was Berg working for Moore? Tell us more Moore. We will all be happy to turn our heads while the truth is beaten out of your big fat pampered ass!!!!

But the whole conspiracy relies on Berg maintaining a pro-war ideology. It would have been foolish for Nick to blow his cover like that.
The only way I can fit it into the conspiracy is if Iwo is right that maybe Moore was planning a before/after thing, where he looks like a pro-war guy til he has spent some time there, then has a change of position.... and the "after" interview got blown by Nick's capture.
Problem with that is that Nick would have a lot of FBI agents suspicious about him when they saw the "after" interview. Knowing all the things we know about him, his "conversion" story would be suspect.

Drudge is reporting about how Moore's movie is being sold and bought. If Moore really did interview Nick Berg for his movie and then decided NOT to include it, that's really interesting.
How are you, little Sis? Say, how far is Ventura from you? We've got a Ladies Handgun Seminar coming up on July 31st in Ventura. It sure would be great to see you again.
Check your FReepmail, kiddo.
