I've often felt that the USA was lucky that our chief adversary was a country that
hadn't had the last strain of Christian ethos squeezed out it.

If nothing else, Petrov singlehandedly stopped WWIII.

Instead we get to have that war with the radical Islamics.

Saved the planet from a 500 year Dark Age ? ABSOLUTELY


So tell me, what Dark Age was experienced when Japan got bombed in 1945? Does this mean that we are still in a Dark Age?
