Oh--and the Guggenheims and Strausses et al went down with your relatives on that most unfortunate voyage. It wasn't only WASPs that Red Star was after! Headline if then was like now:
WHITE STAR LINE'S TITANIC SINKS WITH GREAT LOSS OF LIFE
Men, Whites, the Rich Disproportionately Impacted, Experts Say.

That's going to play great in Palm Beach County, FL.
Bingo anyone? It's gonna have to be full card when Kerry calls the numbers cause he's gonna want to be sure all his bases are covered.

I was under the impression that the term "racism" was created by Lev Bronstein (Trotsky) to advance his Marxist agenda.

amazing, that someone can be on both sides of the issue about being Jewish. I wonder if he had his circumsicion reversed too.

John's left Catholicism behind it seems too.....

...interesting that the name changed occurred while in Europe; I did not know that. It doesn't make much sense to me why someone wanting to "fit in" to Austro-Hungarian society would pick an Irish name. There must be more to this.

Isn't it amazing how democrat politicians always seem to discover their Jewish roots as they start running for an office where they might matter? What is it, the 4th or 5th politician so far?

(If Kerry can't deal with the "Republican Attack Machine" how is he going to deal with Al Qaeda)

"After this came out Kerry, in front of a Jewish group, said "I have matzoh balls." I kid you not.
My Grandpa was a converted jew too. Just think! If we lived in Europe we'd still be eligible for persecution!"
LOL... JFKerry has not found anything yet he won't use for political gain. Personally, his status of birth is not an issue for me, his willful distortion of his life for political gain is what I can't get past.

"In pre-Nazi Europe, and especially in pre-19th century Europe, "race" in the modern sense was unknown. The 'scientific' theories of racism and racial antisemitism were products of the 19th century. That's not to say that Jews weren't often persecuted, but Jews who converted, in almost all cases, times and places, were no longer considered Jews, and they, and certainly their offspring, were not discriminated against."
The 'scientific' theories of racism and racial antisemitism may well have been products of the 19th century. However, the foundation was laid during that period of time during and after the French Revolution, the enlightenment period. JFKerry fits the profile of one who thinks of himself from the 1st and 2nd Estate, but thinks its better to appear like one from the 3rd Estate.
There must be some advantage JFKerry believes he can gain by making this part of his campaign.

My Great-grandfather came in 1881. I'm not sure when they converted, but I know my father was born with the old country name. They would never tell me anything about it. IINM, they were like the "bookkeeper" class. Literate, but not aristocratic.
