There's a language barrier, plus many of the folks won't talk to the police because they are worried about "la migra".

It seems like they're talking plenty which surprises me. I'm glad, though, because it may assist in getting these jerks out of commission soon.

It's nothing new. It's just that 100 years ago, no one thought twice about taking out the garbage. Today, we're covered up with liberal hand-wringing about a necessary action.

After repeated hits conducted with impunity, I think they've decided they're in more danger from this gang than from la migra. The fact that kids and women are being harmed probably factors in to this as well.

But these thugs, like the Asian ones, rely on the silence of the community to get in their dirty work before somebody gets the nerve to call in the police.

Today, we're covered up with liberal hand-wringing about a necessary action.

And it permeates every part of our lives.

Even works of fiction that I have been reading - lately I have noticed a definite anti-gun slant to many of the stories/authors (mostly "cozy mystery-mind candy" types for escape purposes) that I read. All of the bad people have guns and the good people, although they sometimes have to use guns to protect themselves, still lament the fact that they had to use them. It sickens me.

I'm glad the most recent victims have had the cojones to get the police involved. Eventually, unless someone "ventilates them" as AngryJawa put it (LOL!), the unwanted and unexpected police involvement may stop it.
