There are an estimated 2000 terrorists in Fallujah. Presently, we're killing about 40 - 50 of them per night, which is a pretty effective wrapping up. Forget about the declared "cease fire" and look to the facts on the ground.
We don't try to wrap it up in a couple days because the terrorists are using those civilians left in Fallujah as human shields, so we use snipers and intelligence to try to tartet as precisely as possible. You can argue about the wisdom of that, but in any case, we are winning in a deliberate and systematic manner.

You can't even discuss rational economics on jobs without being inundated with attacks calling you a "free traitor". If that puts you off FreeRepublic, I daresay you didn't belong here anyway.

I'll not post them when they stop being Kerryesque in their actions.

The dems control many vote counts, wanted Specter to win and urged their voters to switch parties to keep Arlen on the ballot in November.

This is good news for Republicans and good news for Bush. Toomey would have lost the general election.
I agree. Toomey put up a nice effort, but in the end I think we'll all come out ahead in Novemeber.

I hate him
as an 80 year old lame duck in poor health he will vote against every GOP judge and issue

ACTUALLY BUSH AND RICK WIN, W/O them toomey would have won by 4%That's probably the best statement in this entire thread. Specter has Bush and Santorum to thank for his hairthin victory. I've always maintained, even today, that Bush will carry PA in November. If Kerry doesn't "Kerry" NJ or PA, it's over for Kerry.

Whew... GOP and Bush just dodged a big bullet. Toomey would have no chance in November, and also drag Bush's vote down a couple percent.

More crap:
With 97% in, Toomey is 17,000 down. Only 300 more precincts to report.
Damn it.

Does Bush learn anything? Rumsfeld? I'm all for our efforts, but I'm tired of good Marines dying while politicians play their games That is really a disgusting thing to say. Very DUish.
BTW, go and take a look at reply #727 and when are you basically going to call Barry Goldwater a scumbag for endorsing Jacob Jatvis back in 62.

This election explains why our current GOP leadership has become democrat like. As long as Republicans continue to elect and re-elect RINO's, we are getting the party we deserve. This is why Bush has been spending money like a druken sailor. Why our leadership does not take on democrats like it's an act of war. Republicans are telling our own party this is what we expect from them. Act like a democrat, get re-elected. I'm in awe of your post. The Pennsylvania rank and file Republicans just voted for the liberal Spector. Yet you blame the Republican leadership.
TO ALL OF YOU WHO SAID I WAS FULL OF IT, WHEN I PERDICTED THAT SPECTOR WILL WIN.
I forgive ! :)
-------
Told you folks, thanks to BUSH And RICK Spector will win.
Wow , it was closer than I thought, I thought Spector would win by 5-6% not approx 3%

Channel 10 hasn't declared a winner and there are 400 precincts to be counted.
Do you see the margin? Give up, this horse is dead.

Specter will be worse than any Dem in whacking any Bush Supreme Court nominee that isn't to the left of Ginsburg.

The Bush family has hi-jacked the Conservative movement from the Reaganites and ruined it. Now should be our time, Bush is wasting it.
You mean the Reagan that passed a Tax HIKE in 1986? An Illegal Alien Amnesty and doubled Federal Spending? I just love how you hard right "conservatives" spent the 1980s ranting and raving about how Reagan was "selling out the base" NOW claim him as your ideological godfather! Face it, if you want ideological purity in your candidates, you are going to condemn yourselves to perpetual minority party status. Please explain to me why we should be mad at a President who gives us 70% of what we WANT and will LISTEN to us on the other 30% when ALL that does is help elect a candidate (Kerry) who will give us 100% of what we OPPOSE and listen to us NOT AT ALL?
Frankly I suspect these "conservatives" who spend all their time ranting and raving against Bush are actually Dummies United stooges pretending to be something they are not.
