The thieves also got away with a chain saw, some one-and-a-half inch hoses, some foam, hand tools, rakes and shovels.
Another, less well-equipped fire department? One south of the border, perhaps?

They left the keys in the ignition for the last 26 years so you wouldn't have to hunt for the keys when you needed them.
