LOL, I was wondering the same thing! Or maybe we're the most despised? Very strange!

I think I'd have to say that quidnunc and blam are two of my faves, what they post is always intereresting, and also kattracks, who's basically a one freeper news service.

I will not even attempt to include all the fine freepers I have personally met, except for Doug from Upland, since he's not a local to me. All you New York & New Jersey Freepers know who you are!

I really love each and every person on this site, it is by far the best place in cyber space, it is a source of great encouragement to me at all times.

Know what's funny? I've been posting since Sept 12, 2001, and in all that time I've only met two other FReepers in person, SK1Thurman and thumperusn, and Thump is in my squadron, and I'm the one that introduced him to FR.

Actually, yes. The title is Wild Goose Chase, and it's a novel dealing with a bunch of hard-drinking, tough-guy mercenaries who stir up all manner of trouble.

It's all outlined, and after a bit more research, I should be able to begin the hardcore writing next week.

redlipstick, I'm touched and humbled by the honor you've given to me. There are some Freepers who are exasperating (you know the ones I mean). The vast majority of Freepers, however, are among the absolute best people in the world, who mix it up in the world's greatest online community. People here (by and large) are intelligent, articulate, humorous, and principled. But there are others, among the larger group, whom I have really come to value. They are all of the above, but are also tremendously loyal, with strong convictions, of great courage, uplifting in their encouragement, ever optimistic, cleverly resourceful, stubbornly commitment to the cause and to their compatriots, and have proven themselves to be fierce warriors for the good. I hope you know that I include you in that group of special Freepers. I am pleased to consider you, and others as well (you mentioned many of them in your list), as a friend, and I'm glad we're on the same team.

Also, I'm honored you would place me in the same category as Wolfstar, with whom I am proud to stand shoulder-to-shoulder. Your thoughtfulness means a lot.

I thank God for FreeRepublic, and I thank God for all of you.
