I bet Clarke was FURIOUS that HE didn't get to go to Camp David that weekendAnd get one of those swell Camp David sweaters with the Presidential Seal.
To: Howlin
Dickie Clarkie is an unhappy camper. I wouldn't take him to any camp either.

Kean: Was the administration too focused on Iraq. Can you help us understand where in those early days after 9/11 the administration placed Iraq? Ole Kean putting out the Demo talking points. If Bush was so focused on Iraq go with me on this world, WHY DID HE ATTACK AFGHANISTAN FIRST? He put the Taliban out of business and fact is fact and not the stuff of fiction.

Hamilton has seen ifno from Woodward's new book. My, wasn't that obliging of Viacom.
To: cajungirl
She has asked herself all of these questions years ago. She is just giving back the answers she gave hereself. That is what these people cannot take - compentence, integry, honor. It is like try to get a drunk off of boose.

"Rice to Kean: They knew about AQ. The question was what to do about it. They chose to craft another strategy from the previous admin's"
Right, since the previous administration's policy hadn't prevented the growth or increasing boldness of the AQ network and we wereseeing more and more attacks. Sounds like a fine idea to me.

When you don't have to create what you're telling them from whole cloth as you say it and are clear on the REAL chain of events. There's no reason to speak "slow and thoughtfully"

Not TX, but the dude questioning now.
To: cajungirl
Condi does not recall the conversation Clarke relates that Clarke claims the president pushed him to find a link to Iraq.
She is quite sure the president never pushed anybody like that.
Hamilton: You gave a strong statement.
Wants to call her attention to some comments and wants to give her a chance to respond.
The president told Bob Woodward he did not feel a sense of urgency (Clarke loves this quote).
Says Armitage said we weren't going fast enough. Hamilton says no response to the Cole attack during Clinton or Bush administration (huh?)

We all know that, clarke is a liar.
Now asking about, i42 didn't do anything, but why didn't the Bush do anything to retaliate against the Cole?
