So, if Pat Toomey wins the nomination, will Senator Santorum, the RNC & GOP then trow their full backing and support behind candidate Toomey? The support of Rick Santorum for Specter is actually a bit of a black eye for Santorum. I really like Rick, but recently my phone machine had a recorded message from Sen. Santorum supporting a candidate for State Attorney General. My immediate question was, "Is this guy a conservative or just the anointed?" I can't accept Rick's support as meaningful right now.

What we are seeing is the smart way to get rid of the RINOs, one at a time from the grassroots, bottom up. Mega-dittos to that! With a pubbie congress and WH now os the thime for conservatives to make political hay...elect conservatives to local and regional offices. Then slowly and surely, we take over the national party from right under their noses, right under their feet.
For the time being the pubbies won't be doing as much damage (nationally) as did say the Clinton years or any rat administration/congress.

I'm waiting for the NRSC updates to start mentioning Toomey by name. Previously George Allen has only mentioned Specter's "primary opponent." If "Pat Toomey" starting appearing in the E-mails, I'll know it's time to get really excited.
