It is a possibility that the President asked him to soft pedal any observations about whether WMD's went out of IRAQ.
Even though it put heat on the President for the Iraq invasion..
Would make a nice October Surprise, perhaps!

GW doesn't operate that way.
If he had wanted no comments, Kay would have said no comments and raised some interesting questions to as why no WMDs were found.
$inator Hildebea$t probably has the files on Kay and Clarke.

definitive conclusions even "before" completing the survey Those doing so are the SAME people that are HYSTERICAL because the Bush administration had DEFINITIVE CONCLUSIONS about IRAQ'S POSSESSION of WMD.
Isn't it amazing that connecting nonexistent, completely nebulous "DOTS" to prevent 911 is considered a FAILURE but when the "DOTS" were connected about WMD based on CLEAR, 12 year long DOCUMENTED DATA, it is considered ill advised, preemptive and completely unnecessary.
Dims always seem to want it both ways and their sycophants in the mainstream media give it to them without a hint of hypocrisy or shame.

We may be dealing with Syria using the Libya template to have them come clean.
That's a very optimistic take but hope it's true.

Just to make sure: Can you or someone else make sure the GOP:ers on the Committee get this article?

I don't think David Kay is going Scott Ritter on us. He was not tasked with searching for WMD in Syria, nor for negotiating the release of these weapons with Syria. He was asked to search in Iraq, and found that they probably aren't there.
Kay can't make the accusation that the WMD are in Syria unless he is absolutely sure and the President is ready to push the issue. The argument that many make is that if we thought they were there, Kay would say it. Not true.
We knew for a year that Libya was developing nuclear capabilities, and didn't say a word publicly. Bush has decided to handle the Syrian issue similarly, through private diplomacy rather than public threats.

Where is Saddam? I can't believe that our best interrogators haven't broken him yet and gotten all of the information he knows.

It would, but the la la dems would just say that it had been in the works since Clinton's admin, or so such bs, then they would complete their shift to say only Nukes are WMDs. They are nearly unforgivable.

Exactly, they'd change the definition of WMDs again.

By the time that we saw the TV pictures of Uncle $oddomite, he had probably received some Versed IV via a continuous infusion and some narcotic to help him with his minor injuries.
Then, my 3 year old grandson would been able to find out what we needed to know.
The good thing about this procedure is that Uncle $oddomite would not remember being questioned and his answers.

Hassad in Syria pulls a Qadaffi and gives up the Iraqi WMDs..well, then the Dem party will go right down the crapper..
I have posted on many threads that I have believed all along the stuff we were looking for was in Syria.
If entire airplanes can be covered and buried, how much work does it take to bury small vials of nasty stuff? I could put vials at the bottom of post holes for my horse fencing and no one would ever find them.
The media hasn't shown any pics of the airplanes buried, some of which were manufactured AFTER the halt to fighting in the 1991 Gulf War. Russian planes with French up-to-date avionics. No wonder neither country wanted us to go into Iraq. They have double dealt the entire world all along.
