The DNC and Ba'athist Iraq were alike in so many ways (besides having identical taste in doormats):
- buddies with the French.
- despise Bush.
- election cheaters.
- want Israel to concede land to terrorists.

Ms. Woodruff caught her breath and walked around the mat so as not to step on the president's face. That's actually more than I would have expected from her. Of course, now she'll probably use that as an example of how "impartial" she is -
"Hey, I didn't step on the so-called President's face!"

Can you even imagine the uproar if the GOP had pulled a stupid stunt like this with, say Hitlery's face, on it?!!
To: veronica
I do believe that there are countries that people who hold ideals such as McAuliffe maintain would welcome them with open arms. However, if he were to put a welcome mat with their premier or president's face on it he would be the one looking up from a prone position. No, he wouldn't be looking up, he would be facing up, lifeless. They should be thankful that they live in a country that allows an individual to state an opinion. This action by Terry and the DNC is despicable and so does not qualify as an opinion, unless you would say an opinion by a jackass.

When I saw this on Drudge, Saddam International's tilework was the first thing that came to mind. Thanks for posting!

What I want to know is why the Democrats have a database with 170 million names in it. What was there source?
There aren't 170 million Democrats in the country. I wonder if there are even 170 million registered voters?
What's in that database? What purpose does it serve?
Privacy minded reporters should find out.

If you were casting a movie and looking for the most slippery, low-rent, low-class, yahoo type to play the cliche used car salesman, McAuliffe would be the guy you'd pick.

Hmm. Well, some quick googling shows there probably are around 170 million registered voters in the US, more or less. So the Dems have a massive database that has ALL registered voters in it.
Interesting.
To: HarryCaul
How do you think they generated the "butterfly ballot" bogus controversy so fast? They had a list of people to contact that would say what the Democrats told them.
The database is probably another VIN GUPTA job....
