Thanks for helping me out, doggonneit.
That's right. He didn't dignify the question with an answer considering the setting. Still many believed he did. I don't have a problem with someone trying something in their youth, as all human beings are striving to learn, to feel, to experience. The problem is when one becomes addicted to any artificial means of attempting to 'feel different'.
George Bush learned from his mistakes, while on the other hand we have Willy the Snake.

This thread just isn't complete without AABERT's graphic of Bush snorting coke.

I am very disappointed with Sidious and Mercuria. Chris recruited me for FR, and we'd been friends for a couple of years at that point, since we "met" as a result of both writing for
The Grudge Match back during the Grudge Classic era. We are still friends, but I won't talk politics with him because there is too much on the line this time out. Mercuria is at least partly responsble for the weekly Useful Idiot Caption-A-Rama's existence; she gave me a lot of encouragement, a Golden Bwahaha and the idea for a weekly thread after I posted a rework of the pictures of demonstrations and riots at the 2000 Democrat convention.
If people who don't understand asymetric warfare want to complain about how Bush is a bad President (how soon they forget Clinton and Carter), they can join DU or write articles for The Opinion and have fifty abortion-loving socialists leave positive comments on their article page. I don't go to bed at night and lay awake thinking, "But if FR isn't helping John Kerry get to the White House, are we really Free Republic?" Nobody else should be laying awake wondering, either. At worst, this isn't about the lesser of two evils, it's about "not quite Ronald Reagan" vs. evil. I can't imagine having trouble making that choice.
