We are in this school district. Mr. Fanelle has never been married. The story has totally gotten out of hand. Anyway, the district has a lot bigger problems than Mr. Fanelle...the first one being we are a community of 60,000 people with one public high school that is owned by anther district. We have crap, and the other schools in the district are pretty nice. They are also in the lower income areas. Who pays for this? Our community as our property taxes are higher. Secondly, we are growing at a rapid rate and don't have schools to support the growth of the city of Camarillo. This school district should have bigger fish to fry other than this guy, who did NOT discuss his being gay with his fellow teachers.

I agree with you that the teacher handled it poorly. I think he was ill prepared for the question. Anyway, the teacher at the local high school, if it's the story I think you're refering to, was bringing fresh and soph boys in his class and showing them inappropriate movies. He also had them to his home and showed more movies like this along with some other things involving touching. He was fired. He was also "teacher of the year" some time ago. I also firmly believe that PVSD should have bigger fish to fry. Our new grammar school is pushing 750 kids and there is still more development going on.

My niece goes to Oaks Christian High School. I can't access the article from the Ventura County Star.

A 14 year old boy did something to a 13 year old girl. It was in today's paper, right next to an article about a UCLA professor sending love notes to a Simi Valley student in middle school.

I guess it's time for my brother and his wife to consider homeschooling.

There are many support groups for homeschooling - definitely encourage your brother to look into it. Most folks think they can't homeschool but it's not as hard as they think. For us there's a lot more family time than most families get.

This is bad enough, but at least it's not an adult preying on a kid.

My sister-in-law was always very involved in her children's education (two boys are now attorneys and they always did very well in school). I think she'd be very successful homeschooling her youngest daughter.

I feel pity for any normal folks trying to raise a family in that area of the country. It's difficult enough in other areas, but to be stuck in Sodom, what a burden!

an accompanying article in the ventura county star refers to a sexual molestation that took place on the grounds of OAKS CHRISTIAN HIGH School. I could go on about the sexual assaults on young catholic girls at another ventura county catholic school. Having your kids in Christian schools may not help them, but it might make you feel better

Our Lutheran grade school had 130 kids k-8. My wife was the school secretary for many years. I can assure you NOTHING the likes of which you speak went on at our little Christian school. We can play this word game all night long if you wish. I made MY choice and you made yours, lets leave it at that shall we?

- The article says he was previously married, supposedly to a true female of the species and not some transgendered freakazoid experiment.
- And if the story is true, then if one of my kids was going there I can't imagine a much bigger problem than having some fruitloop declare his looooove for another male.
- As far as frying bigger fish than Fanelle, well I'm sure there's a joke there but I don't have the time to work it out.

If what you say is true, then Fanelle needs to take up it up with the L.A. Times and WorldNetDaily. If he's not a faggot he needs to hire Johnny Cochran, file a mammoth lawsuit and take those two rags for everything they have. Everything in my previous post was in response to facts stated in the article. Obviously the article and you disagree. But if an openly flaming pink flamingo fairy was teaching my kids, I'd raise a stink too. Matter of fact, I'd do more than that.

A bigger problem may be some fruitloop shooting up his classroom.

And keeping terrorists from ramming planes into public schools is also a concern, but does not address the subject at hand.

The problem at hand was the hyperbole of your statment. If you want to back off of it, I understand.

If you found my manner of speech problematic, then why did you initially extend such a weak and indirect rebuttal. Learning to speak directly is troublesome for many in today's feminized culture.

Actually the content was very disturbing even in a feminine environment; more so than the manner. The thought that having your kid know his teacher was a homosexual being the worst thing that could happen, even over mass murder, seems to be a sign of a character disorder, even in a feminine environment.

That's better. Definitely an improvement over your more ambiguous posts. Next assignment: Proofread.

Why would that happen? And what is your point.
