Come on, everyone. This is no different than when we were up in arms over all the bad press surrounding Cheney's a-hole remark. I think we can only take the personality issue so far. The flip-flopping is important to point out, but we can't rely on that, because people are starting to complain about what's happening at the gas pump -- that HAS to be addressed before the summer....

Bush and Cheney got caught inadvertently on an open mike calling Clymer a name. Kerry told reporters that he thought the Secret Service agent was an SOB. Big difference!

Frankly, when this war started a year ago, I expected higher prices at the pump. For one thing, the freaking liberals just cannot bring themselves to drill any wells off the coasts, or in ANWR. For another thing, the new refinery regulations are so bad there will probably never be another one built.

Not to mention the fact that we've all known forever that Venezuela, one of our leading oil suppliers, is run by the maniac Chavez, who is good buddies with Saddam, and who is currently the head of OPEC.

So, I just have to say that the gas prices didn't rise as soon or as much as I thought they would. I won't be much surprised if gas goes over $2, and it won't bother me if it does. War requires sacrifice. I guess you forgot about gas rationing--or didn't know about it.

I hope that addresses the issue for you, which was NOT the subject of the thread, that freaking rude bleep Kerry is.
