This critic complained in her review that in The Passion "No one in the crowd speaks up for Jesus, not even, strangely, his mother." What did she expect, that Mary was going to do some ninja moves and open up a can of whoop-ass on the torturers?

Just got back from the flick... great movie, touching, not controversial... honestly, heard the story my whole life, why is it a big deal?? Because it undermines liberals, that is the controversy.

From complete article:
"This is not a pipe. In other words, the representation of an object should not be confused with the object itself."
This sounds like the John Freakin' Kerry campaign. It doesn't matter what his Senate voting record is, the important thing is that he says, I AM NOT A LIBERAL!

so Jami thinks it's a bad film? Well there sure is a big market for bad films. They were showing the Passion on 3 screens @ 10am in Memphis at one suburban location today. Twenty screens in the entire city I think. Three screens @ 10am. On a Sunday! WOW.

Now he gets to be a victim.
The founders of the democrat party must be flipping in their graves.
All modern democrats are weak.
Weak in character, weak in strength, weak in ethics, weak in morality, just plain weak.

I'm sure she's equally concerned about Rush Limbaugh's hate mail.

Movie critic, what a useless profession. I am my own critic. I don't need anyone to tell me whether a movie is good or bad. If I am intrested in the subject I'll see it & judge for myself.

This is new from
Reuters,
While most prognosticators have been wide off the mark on nearly every prediction about "Passion," if exit polls are any indication, the picture should hold up very well in the weeks ahead. According to CinemaScore.com, a sensational 99% of respondents gave "Passion" a positive grade.
There was not a single positive report on "Passion" before it's public release, compare that with a
99% viewers' approval. Makes you wonder who's running the show.
