Interesting write up.
I understand why they are not wanting to give away the store, but I sure would like to know more about what they think.
This article had more than some.

I spent most of the day looking for remnants of a fossil in the second grind - the one where the before photo showed what looked like a fossil and the grind removed it. I think that I want too much to see artifacts of a shell in the grind. sometimes I think my eyes trick me. Other times I see nothing. I dialed in the exact spot (within a few pixels - 3 or 4 - of the removed "fossil". I'll post the picture in a few minutes.

"When we get to the rim and look inside, it may very well be a new mission," Arvidson predicted. Should be interesting looking for a route down into that thing.

Hey, Phil . . . Look at the rock along the bottom edge toward the right . . . Ever see anything that looked
sort of, remotely like it?
To: LibWhacker
I suggest we get a pool going naming the time and date of the "rim shot".

LOL . . . I just thought it looked kind of like a grown up version of your "thing," only half-way around the planet.

I only looked at the cut area where the original artifact was.
The shavings etc give me a headache.
