I think I heard that Kerry's injuries were from getting shot in the behind while running away. Maybe true, maybe not. But whatever the case, Kerry needs to come clean. These allegations need to be fully investigated and the question needs be asked, again and again and again and again: "Mr. Kerry, is it true that you were shot in your butt cheek while running away?"

(When will the Republicans learn from the Democrats? When will the Republicans do what is necessary - - go down, way, way down to the bottom of the sewer and fight the scumbag Democrats where they live? When?)

If Kerry's claim to heroism is true, why will he not release his military records? Bush did. What is kerry hiding?
Maybe he did find that silver star in the field after a protest. Because he won't release his files, he's hiding something. Otherwise, he'd be proud to show them.
Bush is so honorable, he even gave his dental records!

When Kerry says "our generation," I'm sure he means his own generation, which is the only generation that matters, ya know. Everytime a liberal baby-boomer stubbed his toe, during the late 60s, it was a pivotal moment. I'm not demeaning what those, who fought in Vietnam, when through, but, it is as you said, September 11 was a very pivotal moment in recent history.

I'm with you. While I find the affair story repugnant, and consider it a valid point on which to help guide one's vote (against such behavior), making hoopla of the affair has three negatives:

1) it helps Bill Clinton's hope of a brokered convention, and

2) it tars the Republicans as Victorian prudes (even though the issue was brought up by Clinton's men, Lehane and Clark).

3) it draws fire away from Kerry's "aid and comfort for the enemy" and voting record stories, both strong vulnerabilities for him.

For once, I agree with left... Move on. Republicans should stay mum on this issue.
